I was new to Miami, living the bachelor lifestyle in south beach and in over my head at work. Rosa had just purchased her first home, bought a new car and started working with a new company. So, naturally, we met on hinge in November of 2021.

Our first date was great. We kept it chill, and went for a nice walk through ocean drive, and then along the water in south pointe park. We sat on a bench overlooking the water and the city and lost track of time. Next thing we knew, we were both starving so we walked to a restaurant and Rosa learned that I didn't know how to say edamame.

It didn't take too long for us to realize that we had a real connection. New Years eve was a really special day for us. We started the day by taking the boat out and had a great day snorkeling and relaxing on the water, and even took our first picture together. We ended the day celebrating the new year in Brickell with a group of friends. Something about the mixture of nature, adventure and good friends, really stirred our emotions up and we both knew that this was definitely a relationship that we wanted to take seriously.

On February 19, 2022 we made it official. It wasn’t exactly my smoothest moment. While she was driving I just came out and said “so, uh… I’ve kinda been referring to you as my girlfriend lately”, to which she replied, “I’ve kinda been referring to you as my boyfriend lately too”. So, that was that, and here we are today.
